Afeez Babalola who is also know as Fizo was born on October 31st, 1980, in Lagos State, Nigeria. He grew up in the Egeda-Akowonjo area of Alimosho, Lagos State.



Education Background


Afeez attended New Method International Children School in Akowonjo, Lagos. He completed his secondary education at Command Day Secondary School, Military Cantonment, Ikeja, Lagos State. Afeez then studied Accounting at Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos State. He furthered his education by earning a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos State. Additionally, Afeez is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).


Professional Background


Before relocating to the United States, Afeez worked at the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service as a Tax Auditor and Tax Assessment Officer for seven years. In the US, he expanded his skill set by earning associate degrees in Cybersecurity and Digital Media Production from Wayne County Community College District, Detroit, Michigan. Afeez is currently enrolled in the Master's of Business Analytics program at Trine University, Indiana, USA.


Music Career


Afeez's passion for music dates back to his childhood days attending Arabic school. His first studio recording was in 2010 with the track "Olaiday Mi." Subsequent recordings include "Birthday Song," "Gratitude," "Happy Birthday," and "Ojabo Ko'fo," his debut single, which is currently streaming on all major music platforms, receiving positive reviews and acceptance.
